About

Adam and Imzadi Viges are the founders of Viges Business in The Gambia.

Their journey began in America, where they faced homelessness and lived in a tent with their two young children for six months. This challenging experience led them to explore unconventional housing solutions. They discovered the tiny home movement, which is growing rapidly in America, Europe, and other parts of the world due to rising living costs, low wages, and environmental concerns.

After building their first tiny home themselves and going completely off-grid, they quickly experienced significant financial improvement. Within a short time, they successfully eliminated all their debt. This newfound freedom allowed them to travel, and they eventually made their way to The Gambia.

They immediately fell in love with the country and its potential. At the same time, they noticed a clear need for secure, affordable, and quality housing — especially for low-income families, young people, solo individuals, and those looking for practical starter homes.

Inspired by how tiny living and off-grid solutions had transformed their own lives, Adam and Imzadi felt a strong calling to bring this same opportunity to The Gambia. They believe that living tiny is about much more than square footage — it’s about ownership, financial freedom, and redefining what a home can look like in The Gambia.

Through their own experiences and hearing stories from others, they also recognized two major challenges faced by newcomers: the lack of reliable information about life in The Gambia and the risk of land scams. In response, they developed practical services to support people, including land acquisition assistance, paperwork support, and their signature Bridging the Gap relocation program.

Today, Viges Business has become a complete one-stop solution for anyone who wants to invest, build, live, or visit The Gambia. From tiny homes, boreholes, and brick fences to interior design, land services, and full relocation support, they provide end-to-end solutions tailored to the local context.

Based in The Gambia, Adam and Imzadi are committed to helping families and individuals create a better, more secure future through practical, affordable, and sustainable housing and relocation services.
